The Collateral Guide

Brand collateral is any extra marketing/design assets added to your project. This covers items like business cards and social media templates.

The guide features the add-on menu and details about available collateral, illustrating how you can use collateral points (included in all packages). We'll cover this guide during the discovery process to make sure your package covers the unique needs of your business.

  • I am currently not taking on design projects that have not gone through my branding process first. Starting with a blank canvas allows me to infuse every aspect of the brand – from colors to typography, imagery to layout – with a consistent and authentic style.

  • Generally, no. I like to have my hands on every piece of the brand identity to ensure a seamless and unified visual representation across all touchpoints.

I have made exceptions to this rule with larger companies that don’t have much branding freedom, and logos that are aligned to my style. Packages are not discounted if you already have a logo.

  • Each branding package comes with a set amount of ā€œcollateral pointsā€. You can spend these points on the ā€œcollateral menuā€. For example, you get 200pts with the Foundations package, and standard business cards cost 100pts. You can always buy more add-on points if you would like to have more collateral designed.

Note: a limited number of add-ons are available with with Foundations package.

  • Yes! To get the benefits of the Essentials package, you will just need to pay the difference between the Foundations and Essentials packages. Note: my prices increase as my business grows. The difference will be calculated from what you paid, to the price point of the Essentials package at the time you wish to upgrade.

  • I use a single concept method. By focusing on a single concept, I can delve into the heart of your brand, understanding its story, values, and aspirations on a deeper level.

  • For businesses that do not have a branding budget yet, I always suggest DIY-ing it until you do. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using Canva or Etsy when you are starting out. Get your work out into the world, it doesn't have to look perfect! When you have the budget to invest in professional design work, I’m here for you!
